WHY BOY FRIDAY & WHAT WE’RE ALL ABOUT
Let’s start with The Kit — the fit-out.
I’m a sucker for a good jewellery stack.
Like a charm bracelet for grown-ups — little reminders of places, people, and feels. Pieces you never have to take off, so the mems are always riding shotgun on your bod.
But… buying online? Half the time it was a lucky dip.
I’d get “ghetto gold” that looked like it had been spray-painted in the backyard, or beaded bits that lost their colour quicker than my patience trying to find a park outside the kids school.
So, I levelled up.
Found a manufacturer, locked in a few top-notch bead suppliers, and started making pieces that actually last. We’re fresh in the game, but we’re here to sling quality bits that put a pep in your step — because we’re not just about looking good. We’re about feeling good.
You know that magic trick?
One minute you’re in your trackies feeling a bit “meh”, the next you pop on a necklace stack or a killer pair of earrings — boom, you’re fancy. Inside and out.
WHY THE NAME?
Urban Dictionary reckons a “Boy (or Girl) Friday” is your go-to person — a jack of all trades who can do pretty much anything.
That’s me in a nutshell. Hairdresser by trade, dabbled in an online clothing store, mum, snack provider, retail worker, rookie social media wrangler, DIY website builder, and maker of a mean toastie.
So yeah — Boy Friday just… fits.
